Christian Jamett

Christian Jamett is a Chilean photographer born in 1980.

He started his career more than 15 years ago with works done from the path of authorial photography. Jametti initiated a series of portraits objectifying the painted bodies in different places of Chile in 2002, since then he has been documenting the human and society issues from anthropological, and historical perspectives. He has worked for some national news media as a collaborator including the Chilean newspaper “Las últimas noticias", and also for some international agencies like France Presse and Majority world. He has contributed his images to CHICAGO TRIBUNE, CBSNEWS, CBS SAN FRANCISCO and others.

Christian Jamett launched the international photography festival (www.fotoarica.com) in 2014 and has been directing the festival so far.
