Jungouk Hong

Jungouk Hong is a South Korean contemporary artist, who actively works both in Seoul and London. Through His sculptures, he configurates the painterly images, inspired by ordinary life, in three dimensional shapes and ultimately expresses ‘the basic things’ that are important elements in everyday life but are usually considered too trival to sense. Hong graduated from Hongik University, Seoul and received the master degree in painting from Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London. His major exhibitions include inter:vestige, Space Onewall, Seoul (2016), cre8tive report, OCI Museum of Art, Seoul (2015), The Outer Limits, James Freeman Gallery, London (2011), etc.
