Seungho Yoo

Seungho Yoo produces a series of landscape paintings, called Text Landscape, by repetitively painting small letters or applying small but distinctly patterned dots on Hanji, the Korean transitional paper. His labor-intensive expression of texts and points on canvas fills the screen with numerous dots that can be distinguished as a landscape image if seen in distance. Through this series of practice, the artist let complicated meanings to drift away.
