Maryam Eisler

Maryam Eisler is a London-based photographer and author. She holds a BA in Political Science from Wellesley College (1989) and an MBA from Columbia University (1993). The crux of her artistic practice is focused on the concept of the Sublime Feminine.

Maryam co-chairs Tate’s MENAAC (Middle East North Africa Acquisitions Committee), is a trustee of the Whitechapel Gallery, nominator for the Prix Pictet photography prize, and sits on the advisory board of Photo London.

She is a contributing Editor to LUX Magazine (Conde Nast, and has contributed both photographs and editorial content to Harpers Bazaar Art, Harpers Bazaar Interiors, Vogue Arabia and Vanity Fair ('On Art').
