The Thermo°scape

Temperature and humidity are correlated physical factors that have the most direct influence on an artwork and its creation environment. Temperature, which refers to the degree of hotness and coldness, and humidity, which refers to the degree of wetness and dryness, are environmental factors that human senses can detect without modern measurement values.

The artist, Uesung Lee, reflects on the subjective experience of the human condition to recognize environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, by exploring the reference points for human senses in his new installation work.

The title, The Thermo°scape represents a visual image and phenomenon that shows the difference between hot and cold. Held in an underground venue in the winter, the exhibition presents the cyclical value of concepts and materials that are both natural and unrecognizable.
